The Eastern States Exposition held in Springfield, Massachusetts has been showcasing commercial, industrial and artistic innovations for over 80 years. More then a million visitors from the north eastern United States attend “The Big E” each year to enjoy a variety of exhibits, entertainment and agriculture.
The Big E is the largest fair in the north eastern United States has featured a number of famous musical performers on its main stage in recent years including Rodney Atkins, Billy Currington, Alan Jackson, Don Felder, and Austin Mahone.
Some of the main attractions at the Eastern States Expo include:

The Big E midway 2014 will feature of number of rides and carnival games.

Along with the midway, commercial exposition and musical acts the Big E also features a full ESE Horse Show. This includes the $30,000 Big E Six-Horse Hitch Showdown held on the final day of the exposition.
The Big E Hours of Operation:
Gates open at 8am
Most exhibits and buildings are open 10am – 10pm
Avenue of States & Storrowton Village: 10am-9pm
Midway: Sunday – Friday, 11am – 10pm; Saturday, 10am – 11pm
Craft Common: 10am – 10pm
